Thanks for your comments Njrj - sadly, a vote in the comments won't help them win this months mini grant. Instead, they need you - and other supporters - to show up a the CAFE dinner tonight at the McClelland Park (corner of 27th street and the Ohio River) from 6-8pm.

Each person who buys a ticket (you can buy at the "door") gets a tasty dinner and the right to vote for their favorite project of those presented. Tickets are $10 and all proceeds go to the winning project. Thus, if there are 30 people in attendance the winner will get $300.
So please come out and be a part of the dinner. Not only might Jeslyn win but you will get to learn about some other great projects and people that are helping the creative side of Huntington thrive.

I vote for this project! I personally work with the Jeslyn as a board member of the in-house theater company, Curtains Up Players, Inc. Jessica Fox has truly brought an amazing vision, work ethic, and exceptional artistic dance skill to the Huntington area. We as a community are lucky to have her and her equally driven and talented artistic dancer/business partner, Summer Logan. They are touching the lives of so many of our area youth with experiences that will stay with them for a lifetime. Any support that is given to this organization is money well invested in our Tri-State Community.

No sorry. At the moment we only take orders via the website or at the
weekly Chat-n-Chew, Thursday evenings from 5:30-7:00pm in the
Frederick Building lobby. The Frederick is on the corner of 4th ave
and 10th street downtown (across from the Keith Albee).
